Centrium, GU22 7PD, PulsaCoil A-Class Replacement Case Study

Miss D first called The Plumbing Group when she began having trouble with her PulsaCoil A Class. An engineer was sent to the property to take a look at the boiler. It was quickly discovered that the cylinder had split and was leaking. Unfortunately, when a split cylinder is the problem, the unit has to be replaced. This is because it is deemed beyond economical repair. In this case the engineer was able to carry out a temporary fix until the new boiler could be installed.

Miss D decided to go for a Fabdec ThermaCoil as her replacement option as opposed to the new PulsaCoil PCS. This is because the Thermacoil is a far less complicated system. It runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil has many more parts to it. For example it contains a Printed Circuit Board, a Pump, Sensors and Relays. Although for the user of the system it is not very different, with regards to long term maintenance it is much simpler.

In under four hours, the engineers manage to complete the install as well as removing and disposing of the old unit. Miss D was then shown how to maintain and operate her new unit for future reference.

The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
