Gilbert Scott Building, SW15 3SG, PulsaCoil A Class Replacement Case Study
Miss P called The Plumbing Group Limited when she began having trouble getting hot water from her PulsaCoil A-Class. Our engineers headed out to the property to take a look at the boiler and find the problem. The engineer found that the cylinder was split and leaking. When this is the case, the boiler becomes beyond economical repair and has to be replaced instead of repaired. Luckily, our engineers were able to perform a temporary fix for Miss P so she had some hot water while she waited.
Miss P opted for a ThermaCoil replacement option over the new PulsaCoil PCS. The Thermacoil is a far less complicated system than the PulsaCoil. This is because the ThermaCoil runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil has many more parts to it. This includes a PulsaCoil includes a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays for example. For the user of the system it is no different but for long term maintenance it is much simpler.
The engineer managed to complete the install and remove and dispose of the old unit within four hours. Once this was done, Miss P was shown how to maintain and operate her new unit for future reference.
The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
