Limeharbour, E14 9LS, PulsaCoil A-Class Replacement Case Study
Mrs K called The Plumbing Group Limited out to repair their PulsaCoil A-Class as it was no longer heating up. On arrival our engineer found that the cylinder was split and required a replacement. This is because a split cylinder means the unit is no longer economically repairable. A temporary fix was able to be done though so that Mrs K had some hot water while she waited for her new boiler.
Mrs K opted for a ThermaCoil replacement option over the new PulsaCoil PCS. The Thermacoil is a far less complicated system. Within a PulsaCoil you will see many parts such as a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays. This differs from the ThermaCoil which runs off of a single mechanical blending valve. For the user of the system it is no different but for long term maintenance it is much simpler.
The installation was carried out in under four hours and the old unit was removed and ethically disposed of.
The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
