We were able to offer Mr S a next day appointment for an engineer to come out and look at his boiler. An engineer arrived at the property and examined the unit. They found that the time clock had failed and was not sending power to the unit. This meant that off peak immersion wasn’t heating up and therefore nothing was heating up as it should.
In order to fix this issue, the engineer had to replace the time clock with a new one. Engineers always have any spares or parts that they may need with them. This meant that he was able to do the repair there and then. Our engineer explained the issue to Mr S and showed him how the unit functions. Our engineer also set up the most efficient heating times for the unit.
The repair was carried out within 1 hour and Mr S was extremely happy to have hot water later on that evening.
